The Rock just shared the first picture of his new daughter, melted our hearts

Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson just became a dad again, and his emotional reaction to the birth of his new baby girl is giving us all the emotions. Johnson’s girlfriend Lauren Hashian gave birth to Jasmine just five days ago, and according to his latest Instagram post, The Rock was present and accounted for during the entire experience.

Johnson wrote, “I was right there during labor, helping her breathe, every highly intense contraction, every second of pain, right there watching the actual birth, cutting the cord and wiping the tears. Incredible.”

Incredible, indeed.

We don’t even know where to start with this because it’s just adorable beyond all description. We know new babies are tiny and sweet, but wow. I guess they just look even more fragile when they’re resting on top of a dad who’s known as The Rock. (He has that nickname for a reason, guys.)

As much as we love this photo, we love Johnson’s moving caption even more. He full-on gushes about how happy he is to welcome Jasmine into the world: “Give me the strength to be a better man today than I was yesterday. If I can accomplish that, then I’d have a good shot at being a great father.”

He goes on to thank his fans for all their love and support and ends the caption with a hashtag that gives us serious heart eyes. #SheCanDateWhenShes40. Um, yeah. Good luck with that, dad. But hey, we have a feeling Jasmine’s future suitors will be on their best behavior if they’ve seen even 5 minutes of one of her dad’s movies. Just saying.
