Today, The Rock and his girlfriend posted the cutest Instagram announcement about their baby

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson announced back in September that he and his girlfriend Lauren Hashian (who is an awesome singer-songwriter, by the way) were expecting a child. We all rejoiced, excited that there was going to be another little Rock or Rockette running around in the world. This morning, in an absolutely adorable Instagram post, The Rock announced the gender of the baby, and it’s got us all cooing.

Johnson wrote,

What an awesome message to send not only about his baby girl, but his partner! Acknowledging how much influence the women in life have on him is a beautiful way to fill us in on this good news.

This isn’t The Rock’s first rodeo. He also has a fourteen-year-old daughter with his ex-wife Dany Garcia. Like he says in his post, bring on more estrogen. With these kind and feminist words, The Rock shows he’s going to be an absolutely kickass dad for this little miracle.

While any offspring of Johnson is sure to be strong as heck, her wrestling career might have wait until she’s done teething.
