There was a mini “Office” reunion, and Jenna Fischer hints she would love to do a “reunion special”

Actress Ellie Kemper filled in for Ellen DeGeneres as host of The Ellen Show on December 23rd and got to sit down with two of her former Office costars, Jenna Fischer (who played Pam Beasley) and Angela Kinsey (Angela Martin). The three reminisced about old times when they all starred in the hit network show, including how Fischer used to make Christmas ornaments for all her costars (adorbs). When Kemper (Erin Hannon), who joined the cast during Season 5, brought up how she’s often asked by fans if there will ever be a reboot or reunion of The Office, Fischer and Kinsey dropped their two cents about if it should/will happen.

"I would not do an Office reboot," Fischer said. "But I would love to do a reunion special episode. I'd like to get us all together again."

“I would do anything they called me to do,” Kinsey added. Kemper agreed, “I’m with you, Angela…Angela and I are rebooting The Office.”

Yes. Please. Do it. We dare you!

And whether Kemper, Kinsey, and Fischer know it yet or not, the creator of the American version of The Office, Greg Daniels, is reportedly already working on an Office reboot as we speak.

Former NBC Entertainment chairman, Bob Greenblatt, told The Hollywood Reporter on December 20th, "I was talking to [series creator] Greg Daniels four years ago about rebooting The Office, way before this," referring to the current reboot craze being gobbled up on streaming sites. "He wants to do it and actually has an idea for it."

The Office has been purchased by NBC’s new streaming site Peacock, and the company has already put the idea of a revival on the table, according to Complex. Whether or not the rest of the cast has agreed to be involved—including Fischer—has yet to be revealed.

Maybe after some convincing, Fischer and the rest of the cast will agree to make an appearance. And if so, the revival could be huge. Ahem, that’s what she said.
