Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey are starting a The Office podcast—everybody stay calm!
Co-stars and real-life BFFs Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey are launching an Office-themed podcast that might be able to fill the emotional hole we’ll all have in our hearts when The Office officially leaves Netflix in 2021.
Titled Office Ladies, the actresses—who played receptionist-turned-sales rep Pam Beesly and cat-loving accountant Angela Martin, respectively—will get together on a weekly basis to share behind-the-scenes stories about the beloved sitcom, answer questions from listeners, as well as discuss their favorite episodes.
According to podcast company Stitcher, it’ll be “the ultimate podcast for nostalgic fans” because they’ll get to relive what really went on at Dunder Mifflin.
"So many memories are flooding in as we go back and watch the episodes—many of which I haven’t seen since they aired," Fischer said in a statement via Entertainment Weekly. "As we close in on the 15th anniversary of the show, it seemed like a great time to share our stories and behind-the-scenes trivia with fans."
Kinsey added in a statement of her own, “There’ll be lots of behind-the-scenes stories and lots of us just being BFFs. So come on! What are you waiting for? Snuggle up next to me and Jenna on the sofa and let’s rewatch The Office together!”
While it’s not confirmed, we’re all hoping Fischer and Kinsey can give us The Office reunion we’ve all been waiting for by inviting Jim, Dwight, Michael, and maybe even Toby to join them on their podcast…which, let’s face it, is the content we truly deserve.
The Office Ladies podcast premieres on October 16th.
