A bunch of our favorite humans star in this NSFW ‘The Night Before’ trailer
The highly-anticipated trailer for The Night Before has officially dropped, and it’s making all of our dreams come true.
To give some background, the film follows three friends (played by Seth Rogen, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Anthony Mackie) who have celebrated Christmas Eve together every year for over a decade. It’s their final evening of debauchery before retiring the tradition forever — and hilarity ensues as they try to hit as many holiday traditions as possible on their way to the Nutcracka Ball, “the Holy Grail of Christmas parties.”
Personally, the trailer won me over within the first 20 seconds — at which point, JGL, Rogen, and Mackie begin playing Kanye West’s “Runaway” on the FAO Schwartz piano (RIP) a la Tom Hanks in Big. From there, it only gets weirder. The trailer features cameos from a few of our absolute favorite humans, as well — including Lizzy Caplan and Mindy Kaling, who waxes poetic about the greatness and versatility of Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” like nobody’s business.
Fair warning, this trailer is extremely NSFW: YouTube provides a “Content Warning,” and it’s only been approved for “Appropriate Audiences.” But nonetheless, it looks pretty epic, and we’re next-level excited for it. The Night Before hits theaters November 25, and you can check out the trailer for yourself below!
