The new Super Mario Odyssey trailer has us feeling so nostalgic already
If you grew up on Mario like we did, get ready for a pretty major fangirl freakout, because the new trailer for Super Mario Odyssey is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The 16th title in the series (!!!), this new Mario game is definitely going to crush it. As major Mario fans, we’re already counting down the days until it debuts!
Anyway, to the good part: THE TRAILER. We have so many questions!

We know we’re not the only one dying to get more details. We want to know everything, like, yesterday.
ICYMI, Super Mario Odyssey is expected to come out late this year in time for the holiday season, and it’ll be debut on the Nintendo Switch, which comes out so soon: March 3rd. We got a first look at the Switch in October, and we’re pretty into how versatile it looks.

According to Nintendo,

While we’re always nostalgic for simpler times, we’d be the last ones to say no to new tech. We can’t wait to experience on of our fave series in such an exciting new way.
It’s looking like its an open world setup where you can adventure in a pretty modern town, but we’re expecting to see the same fantasy elements we’ve seen in past games.
Because, seriously, what’s Mario without a couple bizarre enemies and nature trying to eat you? We are pumped AF!
