The actual “Full House” house is back (though it never really left our hearts)
While we’re excited for the Full House revival, Fuller House, I think it’s safe to say that this is the moment we’ve all been waiting for. Candace Cameron Bure, who plays D.J. Tanner, posted an Instagram yesterday that’s making our nostalgia-linked dopamine drip like a leaky faucet. Seriously, you guys, construction has officially begun on the recreation of the house from the series, the house we all grew up with, as well as the cast.
If you were to play a game of spot the difference, you’d notice a few things.
While the house looks exactly the same in structure, it looks like at some point over the years, the Tanner family gave the home an updated paint job. It’s now a sky blue versus the pale beige of our youth. Here’s the old-school version of San Francisco home:
The OG Full House (or at least the exterior) is really located in San Francisco. This new one is being built on the Warner Bros lot. Ah well, you can never really go back home, can you?
Other than that, it’s like looking back in time, and we can’t wait to see what new memories the cast of the show fills the house with this time. Close your eyes and wish for 2016 to come faster!
