Even in the face of danger, Jessica Jones is still making jokes in the final trailer for Netflix’s “The Defenders”

The Defenders is dropping on Netflix in less than 24 hours! (Can it just be August 18th already??) But we’re still finding out more about what we can expect from the new show. Namely, the final trailer for the Marvel series just dropped, and in it, The Defenders aren’t taking any crap from Sigourney Weaver’s character.

Plus, Jessica Jones has JOKES.

From what we know about the show, The Defenders combines all of 0ur favorite things: The badass Jessica Jones (we can’t wait for Season 2!), Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Daredevil team up for the very first time to protect New York City. And sci-fi queen Sigourney Weaver plays the big bad. Honestly, what more could you ask for?

In the final trailer, Sigourney’s character has it out for The Defenders, and it looks like they’re up for the fight. She calls them each out by name and seems to enjoy sending her goons to attack them. (But, real talk, she should know better than to mess with our dear Jessica Jones.)

Will the fabulous foursome be able to foil her plans and protect the people of New York City?

Hopefully The Defenders are victorious because in addition to Jessica Jones, we’re also excited for the upcoming seasons of Luke Cage, Daredevil, and Iron Fist — and want everyone to start off on the right foot. Although it’s difficult to root against Sigourney.

Season 1 of The Defenders will be available in its entirety on August 18th on Netflix. So get ready to binge!
