The daughters of BFFs Busy Philipps and Michelle Williams are also super close, and we think that’s adorable

We love talking about celebrity best friends — since with such busy and unpredictable schedules, it’s rare for celebrities to remain so close throughout the years. Not only are Dawson’s Creek alums Busy Philipps and Michelle Williams still BFFs, but their daughters are also incredibly close. So close, in fact, that they consider each other family.

(Let’s take a brief break for a well-deserved “Aww.”)

Philipps and Williams have been friends for about 15 years, and during that time, they had a few adorable kids.

Philipps is the proud mom of 8-year-old Birdie Leigh, and Williams has her daughter with Heath Ledger, Matilda Rose, who is currently 11. Children grow up so fast.

Birdie and Matilda, who spend a lot of time with each other, see each other as cousins — and not just acquaintances.

"I feel like that’s the best representation of their relationship," Philipps said to People. "They basically feel related. I mean, Michelle’s like family to me."

Philipps has always been quick to praise Williams. This Instagram photo she posted the other day includes an incredible #tbt, along with a bit of funny commentary about her and her best friend.

Of course, Williams is always quick to dish the compliments right back.

"She’s proof that the love of your life does not have to be a man!" she said. "That’s the love of my life right there."
