The Cure is going on tour next summer to make all your goth-rock dreams come true
In an announcement that can only be described by ’80s music deities, The Cure have confirmed that they will be embarking upon a North American tour next summer. Righteous.
So far we have wind of 25 shows, three of which have already been secured at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles (May 22), Chicago’s UIC Pavilion (June 10), and Madison Square Garden in NYC (June 18). They’ll be supported by Scottish band, the Twilight Sad.
Although The Cure have sporadically headlined at various music festivals over the last five years, this tour will mark the band’s first national tour since 2008. Tickets for these three shows will be sold publicly on October 9th at 10AM, but presale ticket details can be found below:
