“The Big Bang Theory’s” Kaley Cuoco just adopted a mini pony named Shmooshy

In adorable Friday news, The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco just adopted a mini-pony. As in a pony that is miniature. AHHHH! Sorry…this is just insanely cute and exactly what we needed to hear at the end of a long week.

And if that wasn’t enough, the pony’s name is…Shmooshy.

According to an Insta post from Cuoco, Shmooshy was adopted from The Peeps Foundation, an organization “dedicated to rescuing dwarf mini’s with special needs and giving them a forever home.” The site showcases a variety of dwarf minis (some with special needs, and some fully able bodied), all of which are ready for adoption.

And now, let’s take a look at Cuoco’s new friend.

Insanely cute, right? And yes, if you were wondering, “Life With Shmooshy” is an Insta account entirely devoted to snaps of the adorable little equine.

One of our favorite things about this story (aside from the whole MINIATURE PONY thing) is the fact Cuoco is shining light on animal adoption, as well as highlighting an org devoted to helping animals in need.

We did a little digging, and buying dwarf pony’s from a breeder can cost anywhere from $1,500 to $3,500 dollars. Which is kind of insane, considering there are adoptable ponies that need homes…that you can get them for free!

It’s no surprise that Cuoco and BF Carl Cook love ponies — Cook is a professional equestrian after all. At any rate, congrats on the new addition to your pet family, guys! And, of course, please keep the Shmooshy pictures coming.
