The 10 best Super Bowl National Anthem performances of all time
Country singer Luke Bryan sang the National Anthem at this year’s Super Bowl. Bringing a little country to the game seemed totally appropriate, since the 2017 Super Bowl took place in Houston, Texas this year. Even though renditions of “The Star Spangled Banner” are usually performed slow and sweet, Bryan definitely brought the harmony and emotion to the iconic song.
Of course Bryan isn’t the only one to recreate this ballad. Singing the National Anthem for the Super Bowl is one of the most prestigious times to get to perform the song. There have been many epic performances of it over the years, good and bad, but these are 10 of the very best performances of the iconic song.
