Teyana Taylor wore something *so* surprising to her wedding, and we’re in love with it
Wedding style is constantly in flux. While there are wedding “traditions” that some brides swear by (which is awesome!), we’re always a fan of couples doing their own thing and making their wedding their own. That’s why we’re so in love with what Teyana Taylor surprisingly wore to her wedding.
Taylor has been blowing us all away with her fabulousness ever since she rose to prominence this summer in Kanye West’s “Fade” music video. Teyana’s immediately iconic choreography, ripped bod, and overall look cemented her as one of the coolest celebs around. We’ve also been swooning for months over the multi-talented singer-songwriter-choreographer-model’s relationship with NBA star Iman Shumpert and their adorable 10-month-old daughter, Junie.
Back in September, Taylor revealed during an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show that she and Shumpert had already married in a super-secret ceremony. Now, the “Freak On” singer is sharing the details of her special day.
In an Instagram post, Taylor shared the look that she and her family of three rocked on her big day.

Taylor holds a bouquet of roses in the pic, and the couple are wearing matching maroon leather jackets and bandanas.
On November 2nd, Taylor shared another sweet throwback photo of her family on her big day, showing off their custom matching jackets.

In the pic, we can see that the back of Taylor’s jacket reads “I do,” while her athlete hubby’s reads “I do too” and their adorable daughter’s (worn over a pink tutu dress) reads “Oh! … Me too.” How cute is that?
We adore Teyana’s unique style and the way she made her casual elopement all her own. Congrats again to the happy family!
