Teyana Taylor shared new photos from her wedding to Iman Shumpert, and we’re so in love with these two

The love story of R&B singer Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert of the Cleveland Cavaliers has been interesting to witness. The couple delivered (yes, delivered, in a bathroom, by themselves with headphones to tie the umbilical cord…) their daughter, Junie, in 2015. Then, they appeared together in an incredibly sexy music video for Kanye West’s “Faded.” And one year ago, they added rings to their jewelry collection in a secret wedding ceremony.

Last September, Taylor revealed that she’d married her longtime love. “I have a beautiful baby, a wonderful husband,” she said, confirming the rumor on the Wendy Williams Show.

Since then, Taylor has only shared two shots of the intimate nuptials, but today she blessed us with a few photos we hadn’t seen before. And effectively reminded us that the duo (trio, if you count their baby girl) definitely eloped looking super dope.

Taylor posted the sweet photos with an even sweeter caption, marking the couple’s anniversary:

“A year ago today we became ONE, in our biker jackets 😭😎 exactly where our child was born… I said 'I Do' & I meant every bit of it from the bottom of my heart. I will forever love you baby, Happy Anniversary my husband, my lover, my best friend & my rock. ❤️💍My heart is given; oh do you give yours to me; we’ll lock them up together, and throw away the key. - Fredrick Saunders

We’ve seen some of these wedding photos before, with the family of three all wearing customized leather jackets instead of traditional threads, but it’s the black and white shot of the couple sharing a kiss that has our hearts melting all over the floor.

The photographer even managed to capture a very distracted Taylor hand-feeding her new husband.

But perhaps our favorite part of this whole secret wedding ceremony is the location. The couple revisited their old apartment and tied the knot in the very same place they welcomed their first child.

Seriously, how perfect is that?
