Teyana Taylor freestyles in video for Kanye’s “Champions” and OMG so good
In the wake of Teyana Taylor’s steamy starring role in Kanye West’s “Fade” video, the 25-year-old singer-actress sparked a worldwide #strongspo movement that probably just gained a bit more momentum, thanks to the release of her freestyle video for “Champions.”
In the Sasha Samsonova-directed visual, Taylor trades in her infamous cat face for chains and strategically placed gold body paint, which still makes for an intriguing look without the nightmarish aspect.

She also substitutes her own bars for those from the original version of “Champions,” which features verses from West, 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Desiigner, Travis Scott, and more.
According to TIME, the video is actually a compilation of photographs that produced a “stop-motion effect” that’s equal parts dizzying and mesmerizing. True to form, Taylor’s absolutely slaying the choreography and looks like a pistol-toting badass in a ski mask and blonde wig.
