Tess Holliday just posted an Instagram to help normalize breastfeeding

Our favorite model, Tess Holliday, has never been one to back down from a fight. Today, she joined the ever-important battle to normalize breastfeeding via Instagram:

In a society that tends to cringe at women’s normal bodily movements, it’s important for role-models such as Holliday to speak up. And she’s not the only one. In the past few years, the hashtag #normalizebreastfeeding has spread on social media amongst moms who want the world to know that feeding their children is normal and natural.

Holliday isn’t the only celebrity to share pictures of herself breastfeeding her children. Actress Alyssa Milano frequently shares images of herself breastfeeding her children Milo and Elizabella — she even breastfed live on Periscope. When host Wendy Williams said she didn’t like public breastfeeding, Alyssa threatened to “whip ’em out.” And she tweeted her anger when Heathrow Airport confiscated her pumped milk and dumped it out.

We are so grateful for celebrities such as Holliday and Milano who speak their mind and stand up for what is right!
