As the old adage goes, do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life. Taylor Swift is living, breathing proof of that. The country-turned-pop princess kicked off her 1989 World Tour just a few weeks ago in Tokyo, and spoke to BBC Radio 1 about how she handles her crazy job, saying it’s really “not that hard”:

While the pop star life is definitely a big commitment (I mean, put me in front of thousands of people for five days straight and I’d probably start wearing a paper bag over my head), Tay’s main point is that it’s not as hard as some other stars make it out to be. In fact, it’s a pretty good deal.

But it’s not all fun and games. The 25-year-old admits that there is one thing that makes the touring process difficult:

Taylor’s cats, Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson, are almost as famous as she is. They’re pretty much regulars on her social media:

They’ve been through a lot, whether it’s bullying from other celebrities or accidentally ruining their mom’s most expensive possession. Their owner’s frequent absences are just a part of being a celebrity cat, and from what we’ve heard, they’ve adjusted to this lifestyle pretty well…
