From child star to big time actress and major movie producer, 15-year-old Bailee Madison is losing no time conquering all aspects of the entertainment industry.

In the next year, Bailee will not only be starring in a full-length feature film, but she’ll also be producing the film! According to Deadline, she’ll play a mystery writer, and accidental detective, who discovers her family’s vacation home is haunted, in Annabelle Hooper And The Ghosts of Nantucket. But she’ll also play boss lady on the set.

On Friday, Bailee shared the news via Twitter, writing. “I have chills. Overjoyed to announced that I’m producing my first film, with the help of some incredible mentors.” She’ll be co-producing the movie, which starts shooting in September, along with two other women, including Kim Dawson, who produced a little film called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Maybe you’ve heard of it.

Bailee kicked off her acting career with TV spots on Law and Order and Wizards of Waverly Place, then worked her way up to a fairly substantial role in Bridge to Terabithia, as Josh Hutcherson’s little sister. More recently, she’s been starring in Hallmark’s The Good Witch. Now, Annabelle Hooper marks her giant leap into slashie territory (as producer/actress).

Already, she’s putting a 21st century spin on the gig, tweeting to fans, asking them for suggestions on who should play her bestie in the movie.

We are super pumped to see this new film from Bailee, but even more pumped to see all the great things this young woman will continue to achieve. She is a model example of real girl power and we can’t wait to watch her crush it in front of the camera, and behind it!
