“Teen Mom’s” Maci Bookout just adorably updated us on the status of her pregnancy

Maci Bookout of MTV’s Teen Mom OG took to Instagram to show off her baby bump this Mother’s Day. She added a simple caption — “This momma is ready to pop” — along with the hashtag #happymothersday, and more than 143k people have liked the post.

This particular pregnancy came as a bit of a surprise. She told US Weekly that she actually went in to get her birth control prescription refilled when her doctor told her she was pregnant, yet again. She had just given birth to her daughter Jayde less than a year before.

“I laughed at her! I mean, she’s the doctor that delivered Jayde, so I was like, ‘Ha ha, that’s a funny joke — but it’s not really that funny!’ And she was like, ‘No, seriously!‘” Maci recalls.

This will be her second child with fiancé Taylor McKinney, their first being Jayde Carter, who is now 11 months old.  The news came only two days after Taylor proposed. Talk about an engagement surprise!

Maci is also mother to 7-year-old Bentley, whose father is ex Ryan Edwards, so she’s definitely no newbie when it comes to motherhood. She’s due on May 30, and she and Taylor plan to name their baby boy Maverick.
