The film is being released December, and it stars a slew of other familiar faces such as Peter Sarsgaard playing the role of Robert Kennedy, Greta Gerwig as Jackie’s confidante Nancy Tuckerman, and Billy Crudup as a journalist covering the events.
One of the producers is Darren Aronofsky, who has a solid history of producing and directing great films such as The Wrestler and Black Swan. Speaking of the latter, Portman won an Oscar for her role in that, and is it just us, or…
… does it look like Jackie might receive some Oscar glory? Okay, maybe it’s too soon to tell.
We can’t wait to see the film and learn more about this iconic First Lady and the pressure she faces to preserve her husband’s legacy and continue raising her children during such an intense political time.
