Netflix is bringing us all new eps of ‘Black Mirror,’ and here’s the teaser to prove it

Netflix, our television SAVIOR. Once again, the streaming site has proved to be our best friend who knows us really well, and knows what we want in life. And what we want is more Black Mirror.

Netflix has just ordered twelve new episodes of the sci-fi anthology series (think of it as like a new version of The Twilight Zone), and the first two seasons are already on the site if you want to check out what we’re in store for when the show returns. Lots of huge names have made appearances on the show, like Jon Hamm and Agent Carter’s Hayley Atwell, so a third season is something we most DEFINITELY want.

“It’s all very exciting — a whole new bunch of Black Mirror episodes on the most fitting platform imaginable,” showrunner Charlie Booker explained to Entertainment Weekly. “Netflix connects us with a global audience so that we can create bigger, stranger, more international and diverse stories than before, whilst maintaining that Black Mirror feel. I just hope none of these new story ideas come true.”

He’s talking about a pig-related incident. You’re going to have to google that one, because I kinda don’t want to talk about it.

It’s also one thing to announce a brand new season of Black Mirror, and it’s a completely different thing to actually give us a teaser for it, which Netflix has already done. It’s like they KNOW what we want!

So maybe it is just a quick image of the Netflix logo, followed by the Black Mirror title, but it’s enough for us. We know it’s coming. Production is scheduled to begin on these new episodes in late 2015, and it’s already almost late 2015. So, this means SOON. We could see more episodes as early as 2016, which gives you plenty of time to finish your Black Mirror binge.
