The video for Taylor Swift’s “…Ready For It?” just dropped, and it’s epic
When Taylor Swift drops a new single, the world sits up and listens. And that’s exactly what happened when Swift released her new video for “Ready For It?” The video — and latest single off her upcoming album Reputation — has a futuristic look, an intense beat, and a message that cleverly combines her old and new personas.
Drawing from a major theme in the album’s first single, ‘Look What You Made Me Do,’ Swift continues her ongoing battle — with herself. Bionic Swift faces off with her counterpart throughout the sexy, anime-inspired video, which is reminiscent of both Blade Runner 2049 and Ghost in the Shell.

It looks like her futuristic vision has paid off. ‘…Ready For It?” has been viewed on YouTube over 6.2 million times. And it’s currently at the top spot on the iTunes U.S. chart, unseating “Look What You Made Me Do.” Looks like the old single is dead (see what we did there?), and this cyborg-filled fantasy world is Swift’s current opus.
It’s no surprise that fans are freaking out about the new video. Swifties have been eagerly awaiting the next chapter in the singer’s visual story. and they were not disappointed by what they saw. false
