Taylor Swift’s mom speaks out about that confusing “Blank Space” lyric

When you’re singing Blank Space in the mirror, in the shower, at your dog (just me?), what are you saying? Maybe something like this:

So it’s gonna be forever Or it’s gonna go down in flames You can tell me when it’s over If the high was worth the pain All the lonely Starbucks lovers They’ll tell you I’m insane Cause you know I love the players And you love the game

That’s right, “all the lonely Starbucks lovers.” Or is it, “got a long list of ex-lovers”? Taylor claims there’s no such lyric about Starbucks, but even her own mom isn’t sure:

Taylor put this issue to rest when she tweeted Starbucks themselves about the ordeal:

Personally, I’ve never heard it the Starbucks way. But who I am to disagree with Taylor’s mom??
