The new posters for Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” video have us freaking out

On Thursday, my imaginary best friend/fellow cat lady, Taylor Swift announced that the next single from her 1989 album will be “Bad Blood.” And as if that news wasn’t exciting enough, the pop star also shared a poster for the single’s music video, which will debut at the Billboard Music Awards on May 17th (which, as I write this, is exactly 7 days, 5 hours, 18 minutes, and 3 seconds away, but who’s counting). This poster, which gives on some serious Sin City vibes, featured a ferocious T-Swift rocking a cat eye look that could kill — super fitting since her character’s name is Catastrophe.

Taylor has since shared more posters, suggesting that Catastrophe might be working with a team. In the photos that Miss Swift shared on Instagram, Victoria Secret Angel, Lily Aldridge smoulders under a fur hood—perfect for her character, Frostbyte, and Zendaya, as Cut Throat, poses with a knife.

Paramore’s front-gal, Hayley Williams, plays The Crimson Curse with amazing fire-engine-red hair. Lastly, model Gigi Hadid stares off into the distance, planning her next move as Slay-Z. This sounds like the best super hero (or is it villain?) movie ever.

The “Bad Blood” video was directed by Joseph Kahn, who worked with Taylor on “Blank Space.” Basically, this music video is going to be like a giant meeting of the Justice League, only with better costumes and way more singing.

Too. Much. Talent.

Can’t. Wait. For video.

Only 7 days, 5 hours, 2 minutes, and 56 seconds to go.
