Taylor Swift would fix this *one* thing in the “Look What You Made Me Do” video

Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” music video is bursting at the seams with easter eggs, but Swift says she regrets one of them. Swift has homages to her friends on her Junior Jewels shirt, to her songwriting pseudonym on her tombstone, and also to her cats in the robbery scene. There’s a scene in the video where Swift and a bunch of models wear cat masks and rob a “streaming co.” It’s supposed to be in reference to Swift’s takedown of Spotify and the models in masks are meant to be a hat-tip to Swift’s cats Olivia and Meredith. It’s like, a bunch of cat ladies robbing a bank.

In this newly released behind-the-scenes video, Swift reveals that she totally messed up with the cat masks.

She paid attention to every detail except this one.

Swift’s cats are Scottish folds, noted for their folded ears. Swift says her cat masks in the video don’t have the right ears!

In the behind-the-scenes clip, Taylor holds up the cat mask and states that they should have altered the ears by folding them down if they truly wanted to make it an homage to her cats. “We really should have thought of,” Swift says in the video, “We really should have stapled their ears. God, you get the best ideas after it’s too late.”

We were impressed with how much detail Swift packed into the video, so if she forgot to make the cat’s ears perfect, so be it. To be fair though, had those model’s walked out with Scottish fold cat masks, we would have legit died.
