Taylor Swift thinks we need a break from her
Taylor Swift has had quite the year. She released a bunch of fantastic videos for her most recent album, 1989, including “Wildest Dreams,” and “Bad Blood.” She’s donated large sums of money for wonderful causes several times. The singer teamed up with this viral star to dance to “Shake it Off.” And Tay also received the BEST fan gift of all time. Basically? T-Swift has managed to be on our social feeds almost daily. But is it all too much?
Swift seems to think so. In a recent interview with NME Magazine, Swift discussed her upcoming plans and how she believes we could all benefit from a little less Swift for awhile.
I have so much respect for people who just admit that they don’t know. That’s okay! She shouldn’t have to know exactly what is going on after a huge, highly acclaimed, highly reviewed concert tour and she definitely deserves a break —regardless of what people think of her.
Swift went on to discuss the pressures of being so talked about.
Anyone would feel pressured in that situation, but Swift cites conversations with her mom as her saving grace.
Whatever Swift goes off to do next, I will support. I hope it includes a long back massage and a lot of “me time.” Oh, and her amazing cats of course.
