You probably missed this sneaky detail hidden in Taylor Swift’s “SNL” performance

In case you somehow missed it, Taylor Swift performed on Saturday Night Live this weekend, marking her triumphant return to the stage after three long years.

And while we can’t stop talking about her performance (she slayed two songs, including her second single, “…Ready For It?” and an acoustic cover of “Call It What You Want) we are also obsessing over the little details in both sets— many of which were so subtle and nuanced they were potentially easy to miss.

Of course, there was the sparkly snake mic she rocked, which was a not-so-subtle nod to the fact that she’s officially reclaiming the snake emoji narrative, proving that Taylor is in on the jokes about her reputation and she DNGAF.

But there was one other super-small snake detail during”Call It What You Want,” and only the most hawk-eyed viewers would likely have caught it.

Partially hidden by her onyx black guitar, Taylor rocked a snake across the front of her black sweatshirt, and we love her devotion to the theme.

The SNL performance marked Taylor’s first live TV performance of the Reputation era, and it certainly seems like she’s all about showing us just how self-aware she’s always been. Check out the performance (and that awesome snake sweatshirt!) here:

And while you’re at it, enjoy one more glimpse of Taylor’s studded snake mic, which we sincerely hope makes a regular appearance during her rumored forthcoming Reputation World Tour.

Girl, we don’t even need to tell you twice…we are ready for it.
