The internet is losing it over Taylor Swift singing along to Kelly Clarkson’s rendition of “Look What You Made Me Do” at the 2018 BBMAs
The 2018 Billboard Music Awards on May 20th brought a ton of talent to Las Vegas — and host Kelly Clarkson summed it all up with an epic medley of some of the past year’s most popular songs. She slayed with the Kendrick Lamar hit “Humble,” got the crowd extra hyped with Khalid’s “Young Dumb and Broke,” and even busted out a beret while covering “Finesse” by Bruno Mars.
But perhaps our favorite moment? When Clarkson sang “Look What You Made Me Do” and Swift lip-synched right along in her chair — with the necessary choreography, of course.
Here’s a highlight reel of what went down, in case you missed the big show.

As you probably expected, Twitter is loving the moment when Swift sings along to her own song while examining her nails and giving out major (hilarious, self-aware) sass.

Swift went on to win two awards at the event: Top Female Artist and Top Performer. And during her speech, she made sure to shout out to all the other talented ladies in attendance.
seeing @taylorswift13 win Top Female Artist — and then shout out all the other amazing female artists out there — just made us so unbelievably proud. We stan the snake queen forever! ✨🐍🐍🐍❤️ #BBMAs pic.twitter.com/yP7ViTEXRw

We’re glad Swift was able attend the evening’s festivities — especially since she’s currently on her Reputation stadium tour, which began on May 8th. Perhaps Kelly Clarkson can even join in for an evening at some point…because that’s a duet we’d now officially like to see.
