Taylor Swift is premiering her entire Reputation Stadium Tour on Netflix, so get “Ready For It”
As if we needed another reason to curl up on the couch and binge-watch movies this winter, Taylor Swift just blessed us with a major holiday gift: she’s bringing her entire Reputation Stadium Tour to Netflix, and it’s all happening so soon.
Swift spent much of the year touring the world, bringing the show to 53 different cities around the globe. And even though the Reputation Stadium Tour only just wrapped up a few weeks ago, the pop star knows how to give the Swifties what they want, so she’s streaming her entire concert on Netflix for your viewing pleasure this New Year’s Eve.
She took to social media on Thursday, December 13th (which happened to be her 29th birthday—happy birthday, girl!) and gave her fans an epic birthday gift, a minute-long preview of the upcoming Netflix special. The film will show the Reputation Stadium Tour in its entirety, and we’re guessing some excellent behind-the-scenes goodies, too.
In her caption, Swift wrote, "Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes! Today I finally get to show you something we’ve been working on for a while... the trailer for the Reputation Stadium Tour," revealing that the film will premiere on midnight New Year's Eve, and we think there's no better way to close out 2018 than this.
Addressing her legions of Swifties, she added: ” You made this tour so insanely fun for all of us on stage, and I’m really excited that we will have this memento of the memories we all made together this year.” She reveals that she loved sharing the stage with her openers Camila Cabello and Charli XCX, as well as her band and dancers “who shine so brightly in this film,” adding, “You’re the best. Thank you for everything.”
