Taylor Swift songs as lullabies are strangely soothing

Taylor Swift sings the catchiest songs around. Her energy and spirit are contagious, and we’re obsessed with each and every one of her albums. We also love when other people bring The Swift’s songs to life (see: Ryan Adams’ brilliant covers of Taylor Swing songs.) And now, we’re having a big-time love-fest with these lullaby versions of Taylor Swift songs!

Rockabye Baby! has released an album full of Taylor Swift lullabies. It’s the perfect way to introduce your little one to the pop/country superstar. Every song is a sweet, soothing and twinkly rendition of the singer’s greatest hits. Even badass, rough-around-the-edges songs like ‘Bad Blood’ and ‘Mean,’  are softened up.

The lullabies span Taylor’s entire body of work thus far. There’s OG hit ‘Our Song’ from Taylor Swift, ‘Love Story’ from Fearless, and ‘Mean’ from Speak Now. There are a few choice selections from Red like ‘22’ and ‘I Knew You Were Trouble.’ And of course, there are all your faves from the 1989 era: ‘Shake it Off,’ ‘Blank Space,’ ‘Style’ and ‘Bad Blood.’

It makes sense that Tay’s songs translate so well as songs for the small set. I mean, look at what a pro she is with the babes:

We just took a listen, and we’re in love. Even if you don’t have a little one at home, you’ll still definitely enjoy hearing Taylor’s songs like you’ve never heard them before. They’re perfect to play in the background while you’re working or reading. And hey, who says adults don’t need lullabies too? If you have trouble sleeping, maybe this album is just what you need.
