Taylor Swift’s “Taylor Mountain” in the “LWYMMD” video involved dozens of Taylor doppelgängers
Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” music video will forever go down as one of the most buzzed about moments in 2017. Whether you hated the song, loved the video, or thought Swift appropriated too much from Beyoncé — the video was the most talked about event for a week straight. One of the most striking moments in the video was when Swift presided over a mountain made out of her former personas.
Swift shared a behind-the-scenes video on how she and director Joseph Kahn made “Taylor Mountain” come to life, and it involved dozens of girls who looked just like Swift.
“Okay, this is the trippiest thing I’ve ever seen in my life. Seeing all of them together is the weirdest feeling, but it’s awesome. It’s like, ‘Oh, that’s the phase I went through when I was 16 but a girl is wearing it who looks just like me,’” Taylor said in the video.
“We’re all just chatting about life, that’s gotta look weird,” Taylor joked about sitting on a throne made out of girls who look and dress just like her.
Remember when the mountain “fell apart” and the Taylors began to fall to the ground?
This is what that looked like to film:

Now we can’t get over the idea of a bunch of Swift clones standing around in a room together pretending to fall off a fake green screen mountain. ~Trippy~.
