Taylor Swift’s retro side-swept bangs are EVERYTHING in this new cover shoot
Taylor Swift has been pretty much committed to her signature blonde bangs as long as she’s been famous. Though her hair has changed plenty of times over the years, we have to admit that we love seeing just how she transforms that famous fringe of hers, too. Now, her latest cover shoot might just be one of her chicest yet, and it’s all about those Taylor Swift bangs.
The Lover singer appears on the January cover of British Vogue, and she’s sporting a seriously gorgeous, swingy hairstyle that takes us right back to the ’60s. Okay, so neither Taylor nor we were around back then, but her cover look is serving vintage vibes galore.
Hairstylist Guido Palau transformed Swift’s tresses for the shoot, giving her a voluminous blowout with flipped-in ends (aka the retro hairstyle that so many celebs have been trying lately) and side-swept bangs that frame her face flawlessly.
We are loving not only the bangs but also the length and volume, as well as Taylor’s new color, which is a warm, ashy blonde shade.
We’re not sure how long this style will last, as the Cats star is ever the beauty chameleon, but for right now, we’re all about these Brigitte Bardot vibes.
Check out some of the dreamy looks from the shoot and try not to swoon too hard.
Aside from Palau, Swift also credited colorist Victoria Hunter, makeup artist Pat McGrath, and British Vogue‘s editor-in-chief Edward Enninful for styling the stunning shoot. It’s proof that sometimes, you’ve gotta turn to the past for a chic new hair look. Groovy, baby!
