Tarte showed off a mysterious new Shape Tape product, and we’re convinced it’s foundation
While we’re major fans of Tarte’s gorgeous beauty products, and there’s no denying that the Shape Tape Concealer is in a category all on its own. Whether you’re a contour queen or are seeking a product to cover up dark under-eye circles, it’s got you covered. There have long been rumors that Tarte would launch a Shape Tape foundation, but it looks like 2018 might actually be the year that it happens.
In case you’ve never tried it, the Shape Tape concealer is enormously popular because it comes in a wide and diverse shade range, it gives you full coverage, and it doesn’t crease or cake. If you’re looking for the perfect concealer, this is it.
Over the past year or so, there have been hints and teases from Tarte’s end regarding the expansion of the Shape Tape line. Last January, beauty vlogger Kathleen Lights asked Tarte if we could get a Shape Tape foundation and the brand responded that it was something they were definitely thinking about.
While nothing’s been officially confirmed, the brand’s most recent hint points to a foundation. Of course, fans are excited over the prospect of a Shape Tape foundation. And like the Shape Tape concealer, this mysterious new product will be exclusively sold on Tarte’s site and at Ulta.
Tarte’s most recent Instagram is the closest we’ve come to confirmation that a Shape Tape Foundation is on its way.

Those look like concealer wands to us, but could this mean that their foundation will also be packaged similarly? It wouldn’t surprise us if that’s the case.
At the very least, this is definitive proof that a Shape Tape expansion is headed our way this year. And that’s something to be very excited about, beauty lovers.
