Tarte Cosmetics just dropped a massive limited edition vault for their Rainforest of the Sea collection
Tartelettes worldwide rejoice — Tarte Cosmetics has made it possible to grab every single shade of their Rainforest of the Sea hydrating lipstick at once.
Tarte has blessed us with a limited edition vault of the beloved hydrating lipstick. The set includes 24 shades of the vegan, dermatologist-tested, gluten, and paraben-free lippies.
The collection is heavy on beiges, nudes, grays, browns, roses, and mauves. Of course brighter shades like reds and pinks are represented, but we’re into the wide selection of subdued neutrals. The shades have beachy, summery names like Salt Lyfe, Yachting, Beach Waves, Boardwalk, and Surf’s Up.

The full-coverage lipsticks boat Tarte’s “12-hour power” formula for longwearing loveliness. The “hydrating” part comes from the H2O infusion. It might seem weird to have plain ol’ water as an ingredient, but lots of lipsticks don’t even include it, opting for drying alcohol or greasy mineral oil instead. Natural ingreeds like shea butter, olive and coconut oil help nourish and hydrate your lips even more.
The packaging looks like pool water. So refreshing!
The vault is limited edition, and you can grab the whole shebang for $250. Sold separately, each tube retails for $21 so you’re getting each for about half the price.
