Tara Reid’s father has died, and our hearts are going out to her and her family
And just when we thought 2016 was finally going to give us a break, we get hit with some more sad news. Actress Tara Reid just revealed that her father died today, and our hearts are going out to her. In an Instagram post, the Sharknado actress refers to her dad Tom as a kind and strong “hero,” and we can only imagine how hard this must be for her.
Losing a loved one is absolutely never easy, let alone a parent, and we honestly wish we could reach out and give Tara a huge hug. We just hope that she’s surrounded by nothing but love during this time.
Tara posted a sweet message to Instagram today celebrating her father.
"He was my heart, my soul, and my entire world," Tara wrote.
The actress recalls her father being super supportive of her career and said he was full of life. According to Us Weekly, Mr. Reid previously worked on Wall Street, but most recently operated a daycare center. He is survived by his wife Donna, and children Tommy, Colleen, Patrick, and of course, Tara.
Our hearts are definitely going out to the Reid family today.
This year has definitely been a tough one for a lot of us. Here’s to hoping 2017 is filled with a lot less heartache.
