Here’s how you can get your hands on Taco Bell’s new secret menu item
For those of us who have a standing order at their favorite fast food place, it’s hard to justify changing it — after all, it’s worked so well for so long. But Taco Bell’s unveiling their newest menu item in secretive style, and we’re intrigued enough to actually try it out. But, there’s a catch.
According to Uproxx, Taco Bell’s latest is “a fusion of two mystery, high demand items,” and while the company’s keeping mum on exactly what’s being mashed up together, they’re letting some lucky fans test out the new product before it goes live. If you head over to Taco Bell’s website, you’ll see this giant image on the front page:
If you do take the plunge and make an order (most orders should be $2.99, so nothing too extravagant), you’ll be able to pick it up from your local Taco Bell between 2 and 4 pm this Saturday. Why the specific timing? Because the next day (which is none other than Super Bowl Sunday), a commercial revealing the newest member of the Taco Bell menu will drop; the following Monday, February 8, is when it’ll start to be sold in stores.
Basically, if you care to part with a few dollars and have time to make a fast food pit stop this Saturday, you can be one of the first consumers of Taco Bell’s latest and potentially greatest. What could Taco Bell possibly be cooking up that warrants that much secrecy? We don’t know… but we’re so ready to find out. (Also, early Valentine’s Day gift, anyone?)
