Taco Bell is adding a breakfast item we could all use right about now
Whenever a restaurant adds a breakfast item to its menu, you know it’s going to be a good day. Case in point: Taco Bell is offering a new breakfast food on its morning menu, and it looks pretty delicious.
But disclaimer: All breakfast foods look delicious to us, 100% of the time.
The new Breakfast Quesadilla is basically a bigger, grilled version of the Breakfast Soft Taco. And we’re totally fine with that, because you can never have too many breakfast taco/quesadilla options. The quesadilla consists of bacon or sausage crumbles, egg, and cheese, and is grilled in a flour tortilla. It’s only $1.99, and a steak version is available for $2.79.
The Breakfast Quesadilla isn’t the only recently-added item on the Taco Bell menu. Earlier this month, Taco Bell introduced the Naked Chicken Chalupa nationwide. (The taco shell is made of fried chicken.)
Yep, fried chicken.
On the inside of this magical, calorie-filled taco (just calling it like it is, guys), you’ll find lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and creamy avocado-ranch sauce. By itself, the Naked Chicken Chalupa goes for $2.99, or you can get it in a $5 box with a Doritos Locos Taco, a regular crunch taco and a medium drink.

When the new chalupa was introduced, a Taco Bell executive made a statement about it, and couldn’t help but use every chicken pun ever.
"Something this delicious yet different is bound to ruffle some feathers; some might even cluck their tongues at it," Marisa Thalberg, Chief Marketing Officer, said.
The Naked Chicken Chalupa has gone over so well with customers, Taco Bell decided to make a spicier version called the Wild Naked Chicken Chalupa, currently available at select locations. It’s the same as the mild version, only it includes a new “Spicy Wild” sauce in place of the Avocado Ranch.
