Today in Taylor Swift’s acts of kindness: She hosted a wedding reception for fans

Big things are happening on the Taylor Swift 1989 World Tour. Like every day. So we decided to keep a record of it, right here.

Think you’re the biggest Taylor Swift fan out there? Well, you might have met your match in the form of a super cute couple: Katy Harris and Chris Eisemann. Katy is the ultimate Swiftie and has been since she first heard her back in 2006. Katy is SUCH a big Swift fan that she and Chris were planning to get married on Taylor’s 25th birthday: December 13th, 2014.

BTW, Chris was totally cool with all this Taylor planning. “Chris has been very supportive and could even put most girls to shame going word for word on any of her albums,” Katy explained on her Instagram. “. . . how could I ever give him up?!” Sadly, as Katy explains on Instagram, they had to put their December wedding on hold. But I bet you now they’re glad that they did.

The couple had already been planning on going to Taylor’s 1989 concert in Philadelphia on June 12th. Katy explains further on her Instagram that she was making homemade outfits for the concert when she joked to her husband-to-be that she should just wear her wedding dress instead. “. . . a joke about wearing my gown to the concert turned into us driving to Philly to get a marriage license and planning a ceremony outside of Lincoln Financial Field right before walking into the concert in our tux and gown,” Katy writes.

That’s right — Katy and Chris got married in the parking lot of a Taylor Swift show! D’aw! Look how perfect and adorable they look. Katy accompanied this pic with the caption: “Just got married in a parking lot and about to walk into Taylor Swift #1989tourphilly #casualFriday.”

A Pinterest wedding in the parking lot of a T-Swift concert — absolute perfection. And though Katy and Chris got their happily ever after, this isn’t where the story ends. Taylor’s mom caught wind of the love-fest that was going on and INVITED THEM BACKSTAGE to meet Tay. Yes, seriously. Spontaneous wedding reception with Taylor Swift? Um, can you say “best wedding ever”?!

Katy, as you can imagine, is on cloud nine. “In a [24-hour] window I married the love of my life and met my hero,” Katy wrote on Instagram. “. . . I have no words to express [last night]! My two dreams came true!”

Seriously, so amazing. Even though having to put off your wedding is totally heartbreaking, there’s a reason for everything — and it turns out that this time, the reason was so that Katy’s idol could be there on her wedding day.

We are SO happy that Katy and Chris got their perfect wedding! And, of course, thank you T-Swift for making the world a happier place, one super sweet act of kindness at a time.

Adios until the next T-Swift kindness act (which will probably be tomorrow).
