This surreal “Daria” makeup costume proves that not everything sucks
As one of our favorite ’90s (and ’00s) girls, Daria will always hold a special place in our hearts – I mean she is probably one of, if not THE greatest cartoon characters ever! And let’s not forget about her perfectly relatable quotes.
Same, same, and same Daria.
And because it’s Halloween season, we’re currently on the look out for some great costume inspiration, whether it’s Disney villains or something a little more nostalgic. Now, thanks to insanely talented makeup artist Eva LaMorte, we have this glorious Daria inspired makeup to get our mind gears going.
How fucking cool is this?!
And, she’s even put together a nostalgically fun video that includes Daria’s iconic theme song “You’re Standing on My Neck”, written and performed by the awesome lady alt rock band, Splendora.
And OF COURSE the video includes a cameo by Daria’s BFF…

The Jane makeup was actually done as a collaboration with another talented makeup artist, Anahy Nuñez. Of course, we’re not sure if we can create these makeup costumes as well as these two talented women, but that won’t stop us from trying! And at the very least, we love looking at it.
