This on air surprise from Ozzy to Sharon Osbourne is seriously the sweetest
Sharon Osbourne celebrated her birthday with style on Thursday’s episode of The Talk — and there was an adorable surprise curtesy of her husband, Ozzy Osbourne!
Sharon will be 64 years old on October 9, but on Thursday, in honor of her big day coming up, her husband of 34 years made a guest appearance and she didn’t see it coming. The Black Sabbath singer came onto the set as Sharon was in the middle of talking after his song “Crazy Train” began playing on the stage.
He totally caught his wife off guard as he presented her with flowers. The two shared an adorable hug and kiss as the crowd cheered for the birthday girl. “Happy Birthday darling,” Ozzy said before pulling out a box from his pocket… it was another surprise!
What was in the box? A new wedding band, that’s what! The rocker gave his lovely wife a gorgeous diamond ring for her birthday, as a bright spot after a rocky year together. In May the couple dealt with Ozzy’s affair with his hairstylist surfacing, but their love is still alive and well, as you can see by his sweet birthday gesture.
"Ozzy surprised Sharon with a wedding band…it's like a band that’s made of diamonds all the way around," Osbourne's co-host Julie Chen gushed to Entertainment Tonight after the show.
Sharon obviously loved it.
"Oh my gosh. I have to go to the eye doctor after the ring, because it was like, you know when you look into the sun and it's too bright," she joked.
