Just so you know, this badass lady can surf in high heels
Being able to wear high heels and walk places in them without falling over isn’t an unusual feat (see what I did there?), but it’s still super admirable in my book. Being able to wear high heels while surfing? Well, that’s just badassery.
Pro surfer Maud Le Car is not only an accomplished athlete, she’s an accomplished athlete who can WEAR HIGH HEELS WHILE SURFING. She surfs in heels, you guys, and she makes it look effortless. The 23-year-old is currently ranked 15th best surfer in the world, so the fact that she can surf while wearing heels isn’t terribly surprising.
On Twitter, Le Car is suggesting that she had to surf in heels because she lost a bet.
Whether she lost a bet or the video was actually shot as an advertisement for something (heels, surf boards, little black dresses, water, or natural mosquito protection brand Para’Kito. . . which happens to be one of Le Car’s sponsors?), we are no less impressed.
