Here’s what it would look like if these iconic superhero movies were directed by Tim Burton

When it comes to Disney princesses, we’ve seen countless recreations. At this point, we’ve likely seen these royal protagonists in every shape, size, and style imaginable. That’s exactly why it’s so refreshing to see new forms of character art, ones that instantly excite and delight our eyes. Of course, artist extraordinaire Andrew Tarusov is the one to bring such work to life.

This time around, Andrew has taken the superheroes we know and love, and has given them a Tim Burton twist. What results is something distinctly supernatural.

Shall we?

Batman:

Of course Tim Burton’s plot would revolve around Batman’s deceased parents.

Spiderman:

So… it looks like Peter’s relationship with Mary Jane has taken a turn…

Superman:

Even Superman’s cowlick has a Tim Burton twist (pun intended).

Captain America:

We can’t even imagine the supervillains Burton would cook up for this Captain.

Iron Man:

It’s almost as if Jack Skellington armored up.

Hulk:

Even the text is hulking it out.

Thor:

If Thor’s hair doesn’t charmingly get in his way, then his heels definitely will.

Wonder Woman:

Wonder Woman has never looked more like she’s from wonderland.

Deadpool:

Well, Deadpool has certainly HAD A DAY.

Edward Scissorhands: Part 2, anyone?
