Sunday Riley just released a new moisturizer that might just be the cure for your winter tortured skin

Our favorite scientifically-minded skincare company, Sunday Riley, just blessed us with a new moisturizer that might just be the solution to your winter-induced skin woes. In case you didn’t know, Vitamin C will help ward off more than a winter cold — the focal ingredient of the Sunday Riley C.E.O. Protect + Repair Moisturizer is a powerful antioxidant to help combat the elements. It also evens skin tone and fights fine lines and wrinkles.

The company’s products are “Powered by Science, Balanced by Botanicals” and the C.E.O. moisturizer certainly embodies the slogan. Another natural ingredient in the cream is lime pearl extract, a gentle exfoliant that apparently sinks into the skin. (Pearls on your skin, feel luxurious yet?)

The creator of the eponymous line told Allure:

"Any time I commit to a new [product], I live and breathe [it] and become obsessed with it....I was challenged to go into the vitamin C world, so I upped my knowledge of [the ingredient] so I knew we were really putting out something that’s not just competitive, but [something] that’s going to hold its own against something that’s in a dermatologist’s office."

After the success of Sunday Riley’s first cream, the Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream and the Luna Sleeping Night Oil, we are sure the C.E.O. will be an instant classic.
