Sugarpill Cosmetics’ new Pretty Poison lipsticks debuted at IMATS, and they’re everything our little goth hearts desire
In case you aren’t familiar with IMATS, it’s the Makeup Artist Trade Show where hundreds of artists, brands, and beauty enthusiasts show up to see what is the latest in innovations and products. One of our faves, Sugarpill Cosmetics, debuted their brand new Pretty Poison lipsticks at IMATS in Los Angeles this weekend. OMG they’re everything our little goth hearts desire! These new lipsticks aren’t available online yet, but this little preview is just what we needed to start planning all our future looks.
IMATS is awesome because it gives those within the beauty industry a chance to showcase the best they have to offer, whether it’s products or techniques. There are also demos and classes for those looking to expand their education in the field. It’s surprising that it took until 1997 for the beauty industry to have their own convention of sorts, but luckily for all of us, it’s here now and we can enjoy learning all about what’s coming our way. Like the new Sugarpill lipsticks!
These four dark, romantic lipsticks will be available later this year for $20.
They’re simply stunning!
The packaging is total perfection, we love how they take that classic Sugarpill pink shape and went darker and sparklier — it keeps it feminine but also dark and mysterious.
We’re just going to have to be jealous of everyone who went to IMATS this past weekend and got a chance to grab these glorious lipsticks earlier than the rest of us!
All of these lipsticks are positively divine, but there’s no denying that the Pretty Poison shades really draw the eye to them!
Which one is your must-have? We can feel our fingers itching to have Dark Sided in their clutches. And hello, has there ever been a better name? We’ll just have to keep our eyes peeled for a release date and hope it’s in the near future!
