How to stream the 2018 SAG Awards if you don’t have TV

The 2018 SAG Awards are happening on Sunday, January 21st, and we can’t wait to see who brings home a coveted “Actor” statue (not to mention watch the event’s first-ever host, Kristen Bell).

The show will air live at 8 p.m. ET on both TBS and TNT, and no worries if you don’t have cable or a TV. There are definitely ways to stream Sunday night’s event on line.

The show is being held at the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles, where it has been held almost every year since it began 24 years ago. As with any other awards show, a ton of the action is sure to take place on the red carpet. A live red carpet pre-show will be hosted at, and will start at 5:30 p.m. ET.

Watching a live-stream of the award show itself will be a little more tricky. If you are not subscribed to either TBS or TNT, you can access either channel by signing up for Sling TV Orange (which is $20 a month), DirecTV Now (which is $35 a month), or Hulu Live (which costs $39.99 each month). These are obviously all a bit costly, but you can get around those monthly subscriptions by signing up for a free trial and canceling right after the show airs.

Of course, you can also always just call up a friend with a TV and make a night of it!
