This new Stranger Things behind-the-scenes video confirms ALL our faves are back for Season 4
Warning: This post contains spoilers for Stranger Things Season 3.
Although we got confirmation back in February that Jim Hopper *would* be back for Stranger Things Season 4, we kind of didn’t fully believe it. And can you blame us? Hopper was clearly obliterated when the portal to the Upside Down was sealed shut at the end of Season 3. How could he have possibly survived? The official Stranger Things social media accounts released a behind-the-scenes video from the show’s first table read of Season 4, and we once again have confirmation that Hopper is alive and well—as are several of our favorite characters.
Cast members Gaten Matarazzo and Finn Wolfhard take turns filming their coworkers on a vintage video camera—”I love filming on this,” Wolfhard says. They get up close and personal with Noah Schnapp, Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, and Joe Keery (Steve Harrington hair included).
And new(er) favorites like Maya Hawke and Sadie Sink are also back in Hawkins after surviving the most recent attack from the Mind Flayer.

Although we didn’t get any more details about the upcoming season from this video, we did get this clip of Winona Ryder, which really made our entire week:

And Lucas/Max shippers were more than thrilled to see the pair share a quick “welcome back” hug.

Netflix has yet to release a premiere date for Stranger Things Season 4. But based on prior seasons, our best guess is that it will premiere some time in July. And something tells us it will be worth the wait.
