Storybook Cosmetics revealed their upcoming gold lip shade that will make you feel like royalty
What is the number one color you think of when it comes to literature? Gold, of course! So it’s fitting that our first peek at an all new liquid lippie from Storybook Cosmetics would be of the gilded variety! From Little Golden Books to Rapunzel’s long gold braid, Storybook has hit the mark with this golden lip shade. The preview of the magical lipstick hue, Adventure, was shared on the company’s Instagram, and we can’t wait to get our hands on it!
While we don’t have too many details, they did tell us we should stay tuned for more lip colors, including, “Fantasy, Horror, and Romance,” which will round out the rest of the genre based collection. Whether they are sold individually or as a set, we already know we need all four!
How perfect is that golden pout?
Storybook Cosmetics knows their metallics, so you can imagine that we are on the edge of our seats waiting for more of their gilded items like the quill and ink liner duo and the sparkling BullsEye arrow-inspired brushes. For the lucky few who took part in the pre-order, the wand-inspired brushes were a gorgeous gunmetal silver.
This also means that the metallic eyeshadow shades of the Wizardry & Witchcraft palette are not ruled out as lip shades!
While the color wildly differs from the original plan for the shade, we love that the beauty brand takes us on the journey from the concept of their products to the finished look. Not to mention, they are pushing the envelope even further with these daring shades!
We really hope the lipstick comes in this packaging that we caught a glimpse of yesterday!
