Storybook Cosmetics is releasing a deliciously sweet “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” eyeshadow palette
One of our first memories of wanting to live deliciously was turning the pages of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as children. As adults, our sweet tooth never quite fell out. We are so excited that Storybook Cosmetics has announced an official collaboration with the Roald Dahl Literary Estate to bring us a limited edition Charlie and the Chocolate Factory eyeshadow palette!
Now don’t get too swept away by chocolate bars, Willy Wonka had an entire factory of colorful inventions and treats. Storybook has chosen 12 “Whipple-Scrumptious” cruelty-free highly, pigmented shades that range from mattes to metallic and pearl finishes, according to a press release. If the Charlie palette is anything like the Wizardry and Witchcraft palette from the Maynard triplets, it is sure to be both imaginative and long lasting!
Storybook Cosmetics has the golden ticket to our hearts!
In a press release, Missy Maynard said:
"We are so excited to be teaming up with the Roald Dahl Literary Estate on this. My sisters and I have been huge fans of the legendary Roald Dahl work since we were little kids. We guarantee that this palette will do the iconic story justice! It’s like Roald Dahl says in the book, 'Something crazy is going to happen now, Charlie thought. But he wasn’t frightened. He wasn’t even nervous. He was just terrifically excited.' We really couldn’t be more excited about this collaboration! It really is a dream come true."
From chocolate bars to giant peaches, we can pretty much imagine any of Roald Dahl’s beloved tales as makeup. We love that Storybook Cosmetics proves that just because our nose may often be in a book, doesn’t mean we don’t take breaks to powder it!
Just like Willy Wonka’s fizzy lifting room was off-limits until the formula was perfected, the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory palette is not quite ready for the public.
