Sterling K. Brown and Ryan Michelle Bathe served ultimate power couple vibes on the Critics’ Choice Awards red carpet
Before his big win for Best Actor in a Drama Series at January 11th’s 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards, This Is Us star Sterling K. Brown walked the red carpet with wife and actress Ryan Michelle Bathe. If “Best Couple on the Red Carpet” was a category at the Critics’ Choice Awards, we think these two would win hands-down.
What you may not know is that Sterling K. Brown and Ryan Michelle Bathe have both graced our television screens on This Is Us. That’s right — Bathe also appears in the highly addictive and emotional NBC show. She’s been in three episodes thus far as Yvette, the mother whose story coincides with young Randall Pearson’s. Ironically enough, her husband plays older Randall Pearson, and it was for that role that Brown took home the CCA.
This power couple looked effortlessly beautiful on the CCA red carpet.
Brown wore a smart navy suit, and Bathe donned a tea-length, strapless beige number with simple diamond accessories.
Brown’s CCA win comes after he won a Golden Globe award in the same Best Actor in a Drama Series category on January 7th. Brown is the first African American man to win in the category in the Golden Globes’ 75-year history.
Both Brown and Bathe have a lot to be proud of right now.
Brown’s winning streak might not stop at the CCAs. The actor is also nominated in the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series category at the upcoming January 21st Screen Actors Guild Awards.
We wish Sterling K. Brown the best of luck — and we can’t wait to see this couple on the red carpet again.
