Stephen Colbert is pretty f-ing excited about his Showtime election special
This election season has been really intense. An election night this crazy warrants some serious coverage. Luckily, Stephen Colbert announced his live election night special that will air on Showtime on Tuesday November 8th. Stephen announced that his show will be called Stephen Colbert’s Live Election Night — Democracy’s Series Finale — Who’s Going to Clean Up This S***? 2016. That’s a pretty serious title, and we are so excited. We love Stephen Colbert on The Late Show, because he’s smart, insightful, and always hilarious. And based on his Election Night coverage during his years on The Colbert Report, we know he will totally kill it.
Showtime released a teaser for Stephen Colbert’s special, and Stephen is pretty excited that he can finally say f*** and other curse words while talking about the election.

OMG, this is so fantastic. We are SO excited.
"I get to do my show on Election Night, and I get to say f***. Bite me Walter Cronkite! Don't we all just want to scream foul language when we look at this election?"
The answer is yes, a lot of the time we do. Stephen also promises a who’s-who of awesome guests like George Clooney, Stephen Spielberg, Amelia Earhart, and the Pope. Sadly though, Stephen says that Scott Baio is not available. Although Stephen even says possibly Barack Obama. We’re not totally sure what to believe, because one of his listed guests has been missing for 79 years, but Stephen definitely has our attention.
